Hey everyone! I just had to share a typical day in my life here in Tamraght, Morocco. This place has totally won me over, and if you’re a surfer or just love chill beach vibes, you’re going to want to hear about it.
Morning: Catching the First Waves
6:30 AM – Sunrise Surf
I kick off my day early to catch the best waves. Tamraght’s surf spots, like Devil’s Rock and Banana Point, offer some incredible waves. The best part? You get to see the sunrise over the ocean while paddling out. It’s such a peaceful way to start the day.
8:00 AM – Breakfast by the Beach
After a solid surf session, I head to a cozy café right by the beach. I grab a Moroccan pancake called msemen with some honey and a cup of mint tea. The view of the ocean while I eat is just perfect. It’s my favorite way to fuel up before the rest of the day.
Midday: Relaxing and Exploring
10:00 AM – Beach Chill Time
With breakfast done, I head back to the beach to relax. Tamraght’s beach is pretty laid-back, so it’s perfect for unwinding after surfing. I might read a book, soak up some sun, or just watch the waves roll in.
12:00 PM – Lunch at a Local Spot
For lunch, I love checking out the local restaurants. The tagine here is amazing, and the seafood is super fresh. It’s a great way to try out Moroccan cuisine and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
Afternoon: Getting to Know the Town
2:00 PM – Exploring the Souks
In the afternoon, I like to wander around Tamraght’s markets. The souks are filled with cool stuff like handmade crafts and textiles. It’s a fun way to get to know the local culture and maybe pick up a souvenir or two.
4:00 PM – Surf Community Vibes
Tamraght has a great surf community. I often drop by a local surf school to chat with other surfers, swap stories, and maybe join a group session. It’s a friendly crowd and a great way to improve my surfing while making new friends.
Evening: Sunset and Socializing
6:00 PM – Sunset Surf
As the day winds down, I head back to the beach for a sunset surf. The waves are usually less crowded, and the colors of the sunset over the ocean are breathtaking. It’s the perfect way to end the day.
8:00 PM – Dinner and Social Time
Dinner time is a social affair. I often meet up with friends at a local spot or join a beach bonfire. It’s always a relaxed and fun evening with good food and great company.
Why Tamraght is amazing
Living in Tamraght means I get to enjoy awesome waves, delicious food, and a friendly community every day. It’s a place where surfing and Moroccan culture blend perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier here. If you’re thinking about visiting or moving to a surf town, Tamraght is definitely worth considering.
